| Xanga is beating me over the head with ads. Not that I post much anymore, but maybe that will change.
Back to Wordpress we go. |

| It was good to go home to San Antonio for the better part of a week. I hadn't been back in nearly a year, and so much changes so fast. The parents have almost finished their home remodeling (although I think that's a battle that won't ever be finished), the city is growing, the country is shrinking, and everyone is getting older (myself included). For some reason, when I'm in Dallas, time seems to stand still. Every day is just like the one before, and I'll be 23 forever.
In my dreams.
I still hate the drive, but the new speed limits shave those 265 miles down to under 4 hours, so it's not all that bad. Plus, I really enjoy the landscape between the two cities. Austin is easy to look at, and I almost stopped to check out the downtown area, but the grumpy old man part of me demanded that I stay on the road and not slow down.
Except for when the sun set. I couldn't resist pulling over and getting a picture. Shortly after, I cursed at my lens for being so crappy in just such situations.

| I had an itch that was demanding to be scratched, so I went out tonight and bought myself an early Christmas present. It's been a good year; I hope yours has been as well.

| Freedom Log - Day 90
Happy Halloween! Girl and I Spartan'd it up early this year, cause that's just how we roll.
